Secure boot
Razberi ServerSwitchIQ appliances are built with Secure Boot to ensure that appliances boot only trusted software. Secure Boot detects tampering with boot loaders and key operating system files by validating their digital signatures.
Edge network security
Razberi ServerSwitchIQ appliances are designed to provide the best practice IoT device hardening. The appliance design physically separates the server uplink port from the embedded PoE switch used to manage the connected cameras and IoT devices. The PoE switch supports VLAN tagging to provide logical network separation. A deep packet inspection engine supports Razberi CameraDefense which builds a firewall between the attached network devices and the server.
AI-driven threat protection
Razberi ServerSwitchIQ and Core appliances leverage artificial intelligence with ApplianceDefense to detect and prevent malware from executing on the server. The embedded software uses a patent-pending mathematical approach to malware identification, using machine learning techniques instead of reactive signatures. Malware quarantine notifications are integrated with Razberi Monitor.
Because it uses very little memory and less than one percent of CPU, ApplianceDefense will not disrupt the video management systems running on Razberi appliances.
Encryption-ready hardware
Razberi ServerSwitchIQ is built with an embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM) to store RMA encryption keys for hardware authentication.
Best practice operating system images
Razberi operating system images are created using best practices to maximize operating system security.
Audit log
Razberi appliances implement an audit log that conforms to Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards to verify password changes and other modifications.
Secure protocols
Razberi appliances communicate with Razberi EndpointDefenders and Razberi Monitor using TLS 1.2 for secure, encrypted communications.
